Pasadena / San Gabriel Valley Chapter
We are pleased to announce that Miles Reid of West Covina High School was chosen by The Pasadena / San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation as a scholar-athlete for the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame 2024 Team of Distinction. He will continue his education at either Cal Poly San Luis Obispo or University of San Diego in the Fall of 2024.
Reid played three years of varsity football and was an All League Player for two years. In 2023, he was a San Gabriel Valley and CIF-SS All League Player.
During his high school years, Reid was Team Captain of Football for two years. He also served on his Class Council and Renaissance Leadership for two years.
His many academic awards include The Principal’s Honor Roll (four years) and the West Covina High School Scholar Athlete (four years). – Reid was also awarded the Ray Mellado Scholarship in 2024 by the Pasadena / San Gabriel Chapter of the National Football Foundation.
Reid’s volunteer activities include Youth Leader/Volunteer with Christ First Church in Covina, Junior All American Football Coach and Youth Coach Top Soccer for Disabled Athletes.
