Pasadena / San Gabriel Valley Chapter
The Pasadena / San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation is pleased to announce that Mitchell Gibbens of Charter Oak High School is their named scholar-athlete for the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame 2025 Team of Distinction.
During his tenure in high school, Mitch carried a GPA of 4.52 and was a member of both the National Honor Society and California Scholastic Federation. He participated in the two-year curriculum of The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and was in the Honor Guard and on the Principal’s Honor Roll. He served as a Student Board Member for the Charter Oak Unified School District and was a Glendora City Council Student Representative.
His athletic accomplishments include: Team Captain, Three Varsity starter in football, All League 2023 and 2024 and All San Gabriel Valley 2024. Mitch also participated in Varsity Soccer.
Through the San Gabriel Valley / Pasadena Chapter of the National Football Foundation, Mitch was voted a Scholar-Athlete and was a Tournament of Roses Scholarship recipient.
Mitch’s community service includes volunteering as a Youth Football Camp Coach, Youth Softball Coach and Youth Soccer Referee.
